Covering the entire spectrum of production, Bike Rack can fill any music, audiobook, podcasting, and VO needs. We aim to be the first choice for a comfortable and relaxed, but professional and creative atmosphere.
Bike Rack Records is fully equipped to handle up to 16 inputs of simultaneous recording into both Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. Our digital cache of plugins and virtual instruments features all the must have tools of the trade including suites from Baby Audio, Izotope, Waves, Slate, and others.
On hand, the studio has a wall of guitars that includes an Epiphone Hummingbird, Casino Coupe, SG, and Les Paul, Thunderbird Bass, and more, a PDP house drum kit, various auxiliary percussion, and Alesis 88-key midi keyboard available for use. Our microphone closet features Shure, AKG, Blue, Audio-Technica among others and is ever expanding to include the perfect mic for every application.
Michael Jones started his musical misadventures as a teenager as a bassist in a punk band, finding inspiration in the social conscience of punk rock. He spent high school in basements making noise with various bands, cutting his teeth at composition and production techniques he’s built upon ever since. Through college and into his professional career he expanded into other audio mediums including audiobooks and podcasts.
Earning a Bachelor’s in audio production, Michael is a professional engineer, producer, and casting director, having worked on 25 albums and EPs and over 1000 audiobook features with various publishers.
Michael is a multi-instrumentalist for a punk band, an avid board gamer, and a sometimes world traveler.
